My scans have arrived and I am so excited to blog part 1 of 3! This was the first leg of our trip- Belgium!!
These are some of my favorite photos from Bruges and Knokke Beach on the North Sea. We stayed in the cutest VRBO in Bruges and I just can’t quite capture how awesome this place was. We had a courtyard, indoor pool and 4 bedrooms…perfection! Every morning, we would wake up and walk the cobblestone streets everyday to market where we could grab breakfast or a latte. We would spend the day exploring different alleys, eating the local food (Belgians love their french fries with a side of mayo!), or taking the river boat across town. Bruges is also known as the “Venice of the North” and if you continue on through my photos, you’ll be able to see why 🙂
We also took a day trip one day on the train to Knokke Beach- about 30 minutes away from Bruges. We were only there for a short while, but I did manage to dip my toes in the (COLD!) water.
All photographs were shot on Contax 645 or Contax G2 with Ektar 100 and Fuji400h film. Developed and scanned by the FINDlab.
